Izmir University of Economics is getting all festive
Students of Izmir University of Economics are celebrating the arrival of spring with a festival. Students will enthuse over the concerts by Pinhani, and Son Feci Bisiklet, and chat with Aybüke Albere, Nebil Sayın, and famous Youtubers at the “Spring Fest 19” on 29 – 30 April.
The festival will include shows, concerts, sports activities, performances and concerts by student clubs. The festival will get started with an opening ceremony on 29 April at 11.00 at IUE Ceremony Field, where IUE Modern Dances and Hiphop Club, IUE Latin Dances Club, and IUE Folk Dances Club will perform, and IUE Physics Club will hold a rocket competition.
At 14.30, a chat with Nebil Sayın will take place at IUE Conference Hall followed by concerts by “Altermate”, “Bad Karma” by the Musicians Community, “Çok Düşündük”, “Hybird Corruption”, “Kadeh”, “Karma” by the Musicians Club, and “Echoir” by Echoir Club at 15.30 at IUE Ceremony Field. The first day of the festival will come to end with concerts respectively by Son Perde, Pinhani, and performance by DJ Grothers, which will start at 19.00 at IUE Amphitheatre.
The second day of the festival will kick off with yoga activity by Izmir Yoga at 11.00 at the Ceremony Field. Students will also enjoy performances by Latin Dances, Modern Dances and Hiphop, Chinese Culture Center, Musicians Club, and Italian Language Department. At 14.00, Football Club will hold a development of football summit at the Conference Hall. The “Youtube Summit” to take place at 16.00 will welcome Akgün Kavarna, Ali Rıza Tunçer, Beliz Şen, Büşra Güler, Elif Yalçın, Nihan Güzel, Sezin Karameşe, and Yağmur Vardar. At 17.00, a chat with Aybüke Albere will take place at IUE Conference Hall. Concert by Group Turuncu, led by IUE Music Consultant Alaskar Abbasov, will take place at 18.00 at the Ceremony Field. Festival will end with concerts by Rolla, Son Feci Bisiklet, and performance by DJ Tansel, which will start at 19.00 at IUE Amphitheatre.
