2025–2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremonies
Izmir University of Economics’ 2025–2026 Academic Year Undergraduate and Associate Degree Graduation Ceremony will be held between July 6–10, 2026, at the Izmir University of Economics Amphitheater.
The graduation ceremonies will take place over five days. For all faculties and vocational schools, ceremony rehearsals will begin at 10:30 on the respective ceremony day, while the graduation ceremonies will begin at 20:00. Both rehearsals and ceremonies will be held at the Izmir University of Economics Amphitheater.

Eligibility for Participation
The following students are eligible to participate in the Graduation Ceremony:
Regardless of class standing or cumulative grade point average (CGPA), students who have completed at least 200 ECTS credits in undergraduate programs and at least 90 ECTS credits in associate degree programs will be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremonies to be held on our campus.
* Graduation ceremonies for the Graduate School and the Faculty of Medicine will be held on dates to be announced later.
Important Information Regarding Graduation Ceremonies
Izmir University of Economics 2025-2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremonies will be held at the Amphitheater between July 6-10, 2026. In order to ensure that the ceremonies are carried out in an orderly, safe, and enjoyable manner for all participants, we kindly ask you to pay attention to the following points.
Application Process
• Graduation ceremony applications will close on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 15.00.
• Students/graduates who do not complete their information entry and indicate their attendance status by the application deadline will not be included in the ceremony program.
• Please make sure that the phone number and e-mail address provided on the application screen are up to date and accurate.
• All students who have indicated that they will attend the ceremony are required to participate in the rehearsal program.

Guest Participation and Campus Entry
• Due to the capacity of the Amphitheater, each graduate may invite a maximum of 4 guests.
• Guest information must be entered into the system completely and accurately during the application process. The identity information to be presented at campus entry must match the information registered in the system. Otherwise, entry to the campus will not be permitted.
• Guests who are Turkish citizens may enter the campus with their new chip-enabled Turkish Republic identity cards, while international guests may enter by presenting their passports.
• Registered guests whose identity checks are completed at the campus entrance will be given single-use wristbands. Entry to the Amphitheater will only be permitted with these wristbands. Wristbands are personal and non-transferable.
• Guests who are unable to present identification or who are not registered in the system will not be allowed to enter the campus or the Amphitheater.
Graduation Gown Collection
• Graduation gowns will be provided on the rehearsal day in exchange for a national ID card/Turkish Republic identity card, passport, or driver’s license. Identity documents will be returned to their owners at the end of the ceremony upon the return of the gowns.
• Students/graduates who are unable to present identification will be required to pay a deposit of 2,400 TL. The deposit will be refunded after the graduation gowns are returned in full.
Amphitheater Rules
• Only registered guests wearing wristbands will be allowed to enter the Amphitheater.
• Guests are required to follow the instructions of the staff regarding seating arrangements and directions.
• Stairs, passageways, and emergency exits must be kept clear throughout the ceremony.
• Except for professional photo and video shoots, guests are kindly requested not to enter the front of the stage, passageways, or protocol area.
• Graduates are expected to follow the directions of the assigned staff when entering and leaving the stage.
• Guests are kindly requested not to stand for extended periods in a way that may obstruct the view of other participants during the ceremony.
• Balloons, confetti, torches, flammable or explosive materials, and devices that produce loud noise are not permitted in the Amphitheater area.
• Guests are kindly requested not to bring pets to the Amphitheater area. Due to the crowded environment, sound system, and heavy pedestrian traffic, this measure is important for the safety of our animal friends and the comfort of all participants.
• Smoking, electronic cigarettes, and all other tobacco products are prohibited inside the Amphitheater.
• In order to keep the area clean, we kindly ask all participants to take care when consuming food and beverages and to dispose of waste in the trash bins.
• In order to ensure a fair seating arrangement in the Amphitheater, guests are kindly requested not to reserve seats by leaving personal belongings on them.
Alternative Viewing Areas
Guests who are not included within the guest quota will be able to follow the ceremonies from the alternative viewing areas set up on campus.

In addition, all graduation ceremonies will be broadcast live on the Izmir University of Economics YouTube Channel.
