A ‘smart textile’ product with sensor features has been developed at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) to contribute to the early detection of breast cancer, which is very common in women. 

Ergün Kırlıkovalı, the Turkish engineer and businessman who produces the special coating material that provides stealth capabilities to the American F-35 aircraft, was hosted by Izmir University of Economics (IUE) to meet with young people. 

Prof. Dr. Oğuz Kılınç, Faculty Member at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Medicine, and Expert Clinical Psychologist Pınar Aytaçlar stated that screen and social media addiction are gradually turning into a growing public health issue.

Gözde Naz Terzi, a graduate of the Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Department of Visual Communication Design achieved first place in Europe with her animation titled ‘Tora’, which tells the story of a tiger living in the forest.
