2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR GRADUATE PROGRAMS GRADUATION CEREMONY

University's 2025-2026 Academic Year Graduate Programs Graduation Ceremony will be held in the ceremony field on September 3, 2026.

Eligible to attend the Graduation Ceremony from the Graduate Programs are: those who graduated at the end of the fall term of the 2025-2026 academic year; those who graduated at the end of the spring term from Non-Thesis/Thesis/Doctoral Programs; and students in Thesis Programs who are at the thesis stage and have taken their thesis defense.

Application Process

Applications for the graduation ceremony will close on the FINAL APPLICATION DATE of Tuesday, 1 September 2026 at 17:00. Students/graduates who do not enter their information and indicate their attendance status by the deadline cannot be included in the ceremony program.

Please verify that the phone and e-mail information shown on the application screen is correct.

Guest Attendance and Campus Entry

Due to the capacity of the Ceremony Area, each graduate may invite a maximum of 4 guests.

Guest information must be entered into the system completely and accurately during application. The identity information presented at campus entry must match the information registered in the system; otherwise entry to the Ceremony Area will not be permitted.

Turkish citizen guests may enter the campus with their new (chipped) T.R. ID cards, while foreign national guests may enter by presenting their passports.

Guests who cannot present identification or who are not registered in the system will not be allowed to enter the Ceremony Area.

Delivery of Ceremony Attire

Ceremony attire will be handed out on the ceremony day from the Document Registration Office starting at 17:00, in exchange for a national ID card, passport or driver's license. IDs will be returned to their owners when the attire is returned at the end of the ceremony.

Students/graduates who cannot present identification must pay a deposit of 2,400 TL. The deposit will be refunded once the ceremony attire is returned in full.

Ceremony Area Rules of Use

Only registered guests will be admitted to the Ceremony Area.
Please follow the instructions of the staff regarding seating arrangements and directions.
During the ceremony, passageways and emergency exits must be kept clear.
Except for professional photo and video recording, please do not enter the stage front, passageways or protocol area.
It is important that graduates follow the guidance of the staff when going on and off the stage.
Please do not remain standing for long periods in a way that blocks other participants' view during the ceremony.
Balloons, confetti, torches, flammable or explosive materials and devices producing loud noise are not allowed in the Ceremony Area.
Please do not bring pets to the Ceremony Area. Due to the crowded environment, sound system and intense movement of people, this practice is important for the safety of our pets and the comfort of participants.
To keep the area clean, please take care when consuming food and drinks and dispose of waste in the bins.
To ensure a fair seating arrangement in the Ceremony Area, please do not reserve seats by leaving personal belongings on them.
